Tow bar
#1
Looking at getting this tow bar of someone but it doesn't have the electrics with it. How would I go about wiring it up? Can I simply write the lh indicator to the lh indicator and the brake light to the brake light and so on?
Thanks

Yes, you can use wire splicers which connect 2 wires together easily. I have a tow bar from a 306 sat here with no 306 to put it on, includes wiring. It's got surface rust in places but otherwise fine. You can have it free of charge if you collect. I'm based in Wirral.

Mate your right about the wiring, just connect it to the wiring coming out of the rear light clusters either by soldering (best option) or with them shit blue snap lock things. Halfords sell the plug and a good length of wire that'll bolt behind the tow ball for about £15 but cheaper on trade IIRC. I've got a brand new one going on with mine so you can have a second hand one for £2 if you come and pick it up.
