If Peugeot carry on like this, they're going to be back on the ball just as much as they were late 80s early 90s....
They do seem pretty serious about getting it all back again... We can hope!

They will never be back to what they were because the EU have stuck their nose in too much with all this safety bollocks but i think they are doing a damn hard job at trying. I havent driven one but the 208 is supposed to be very very fun to drive even in non gti spec. RCZ is supposed to be very good to drive. Unfortunately like before, they are all a little under powered but that can be dealt with with a new map now!
I do genuinely think the 306 was the last proper peugeot and thats the newest peugeot i would buy but if the rumours about the 206 and new rcz are true, id certainly consider those two! Although ive got my eye on a gt86 in a few years time now!
