Funny Ireland seems to be full of 205s I've had 5 in the last couple of months and all were rust free, no salt used on the roads over here

scraped a rust free shell only 2 months ago.. when I see some of the rust bucket projects on the gti forum I cringe.. wouldn't even bother with them ..scrap and reshell

rust free shells don't exist over here, its wasteful scrapping and re-shelling anyway!

Yes.

The sunroof works fine though, the inflaty thing inflates the thing properly and it doesn't leak.

Will put up a project thread when iv'e actually done anything to it.
Started up lovely from cold with a flat battery and runs nice.Needs some bushes and ball joints, sunroof is not quite as watertight as first thought, ducks made home in the footwell.
Bengley was a top bloke to deal with, travelled all the way down on Xmas eve.

Sorry to anyone else who wanted to buy it. Unfortunately after nearly a year of trying to sell it I just wanted to get rid of it ASAP and now seemed like the best time given I've got a few days off work.

Indeed, the sunroof had let just a spot of water in. Well, the footwells were flooded...

I suppose that's what happens when you leave a car for so long in the crap weather.
