Full AA European cover is £121 take it out today phone them tomorrow.

I have done this in the UK you have to wait 24hrs for your policy to be valid IIRC.

Doesn't anyone f*cking read anymore?

Thank you all for your help and replies. Thank you for offering to come.

Unfortunately we have run out of time. We have left the car behind. Jonny will be staying at mine whilst we work on a plan to legally and safely bring the car home. I will give you guys all an update when I have proper Internets.

Fooby I think renting that Citroen relay is the best bet. If you need a driver give me a shout. Driven there loads of times and I have a passport.

I would suggest. That I have a passport, nothing to do on Monday, access to a a-frame, but I live in east mids and I don't have a tow bar.

Thanks Mark.

Seems like our best bet. Problem is that mileage limit. We need to do just over 1,200 miles round trip. We will get totally bummed.

We also need to make sure myself Jonny can drive it and we can take it to France.

I can call them tomorrow morning and ask. Normally I get let off when driving to Paris.

There is still something to pay but normally not that much.

Wont be legal mate. I dont think most cars can do it legally bearing in mind that a a frame technically turns the car into a braked trailer and it will be over the cars MAM. And we've all seen how the foreigners are with legalities against the british. Jonny will end up having bum sex with 4 fat coppers just to get off a substantial fine and loosing the cars.
