Just sitting here chilling in my shorts watching the rain start to fall and realised my half painted (just had its 3rd base coat) strut brace is hanging from the washing line.
Well thats gonna be ruined, ARSE!

How long had it been sat for? I left my manifold in the rain once after having a coat of paint, was sat about 20-25mins, it was chucking it down I went out expecting it to be shit, got too it and the water fell off it, I dried it with a hair dryer and all was good

Just stuck my head out the window and there's no blue puddle underneath it and the water is beading nicely on top of it so hopefully OK. Ill check properly once the rain has stopped. I hate this f*cking weather.
Its an ally brace so I was giving it a blue hammerite base coat before a colour coded top coat.

I painted some engine plastics (battery lid, ecucover, fusebox cover) and put them on thinking job jobbed. It rained overnight and when i found them in the morning they were covered in white blotches D:

been out and checked it, paint is really tacky but looks alright and still feels smooth with no obvious extra runs.

Hammarite will be ok in the rain! Just make sure you wipe it down good before the actual colour!

I was planning to get my torsion bar lowered today as well as rebuilding the front ns strut, but rains stopped play on that as well. I hate this country.
