I thought he was meaning in as in towards the center of the car (and away from the spokes) but there isn't much hope of that either......

No mark, not getting involved in machining further offset discs or anything, that's asking for disaster....

I'm confident that the brakes will fit under the diameter of a cyclone, but then obviously there's the question of how close the caliper comes to the spokes. From reading a project blog on the '6 forum I've learned that the near as dammit fit, but for peace of mind and common sense a spacer is fitted to give a little more breathing room.
