Kind of continuing from the "top five films.." thread,
i remember being a kid and this film was ALWAYS on tv, but i never knew the name

It was a quality film, it was the sequels which tarnish its' reputation as they were dogshit. Could have been epic, but they were full of fail.
Hardly a timeless combination of storytelling and quality acting though, but well good for the action scenes / immaturity!
I think I remember being really disappointed with the video game this spawned as well?

there was a video game?!
but yeah the sequels were absolutely awful, had no real stroyline
Jake, you NEED to watch this film, 2 hours, but worth it 100%
