This is a broken towing eye, usually a result of a failtow:

This is not a part failure as such, but an example of incorrect fitment. Notice the lack of access to the pedals:

Not a 306 but could happen to any car -

This spring. Its f*cked. Causes snapping noise, followed by knocking noise, followed by rubbing noise and plumes of tyre smoke...

I could go on.... Moral of the story, if you want reliability, don't buy a Peugeot, or a VW, or a Vauxhall, or any car ever tbh, they're all shit. Dodgy

Oh and definitely don't buy a car that I've been near!! lol

Problem:

No boost

Problem part:

Probable cause: Being a spaz and not using Garrett spec clamping bolts to hold the compressor housing on

Known fix (tested): Replace it

Problem:

No boost, lots and lots of smoke

Problem part:

Turbine having a lie down in the middle of the motorway, compressor wanted to stay in the turbo. They split amicably. Go home compressor, you're drunk. Oil prefers to be in cloud form and not in engine.

Probable cause: Too much boost, tested to destruction

Known fix (tested): Replace it.

Problem: RAC won't tow

Problem part: Brain

Possible cause: Forgets to tax car, RAC refuse to tow, left stuck at side of motorway in the middle of the night with no tax and therefore no insurance.

Known fix: Phone brother in law for a tow. Remove FMIC to gain access to tow hook that was bent out of the way because it looked ugly. Use mouldy dodgy bit of rope to haul ass out of the Police line of sight. Tax car and replace turbo. Lol forever.
