Was having a rummage through my parts bn and came across some turbos I had completely forgotten about.
I have:
2x garrett gt20's
1x KKK ko4
4x td05
1x td04
And some misc ones I think are off a Toyota celica
Just wandering what peoples thoughts are on suitability for xud/hdi enginesobviusly the td04 is useful.
The td05 is a monstrous looking thing so I have my doubts that a derv engine could spool it by itself

Yeah max rolled 168 with clutch slip on a ko4
what gt20's are they? The gt2052s and gt2056s are very well suited to the xud
Don't think the td05 would be so suited though
Ko4s I believe max's is. The one from the vag 225 engine

Aaah so they're VNT gt20's?
Ruan may be interested in them
But for us mere mortals we can't control them

That's not a GT20V?!
That's a Toyota CT20A which is one of the turbos off a 2JZ-GTE.
The TD05 is a TD05HR-16G but the big exhaust housing version from the looks of things.

Pretty much all Evos from IV onwards are TD05HR - so could be any of them.

I've a K03 in the garage (not off an XUD btw) it looks very similar to that K04... Any more numbers on it? Is it on a manifold?

it clearly says ko4 along with the serial number on a plate, i only had my phone on me which was too shit to get a decent picture of it. its just the turbo, no manifold.
i have a feeling it came off my mates mk1 golf project car

Which gt2056 the s or v?
But either way
YES. It will spool a lot quicker than a TD05 and an 04 for that matter
