HELP - Can Anyone Identify this part?
#1
This is a composite part comprising three elements - a fairly strong spring; a short plastic sleeve and a rod like insert which has a socket shaped head that looks like it is designed to accept a ball.

Found in the driver's side well with no obvious change in performance.

Question: What is it ? is it from the driver's side dashboard area or perhaps the driver's seat ?

Is that not the spring from the clutch pedal that people have mentioned removing to stop the squeaking?

On second thought it might be. Too big for a gov
