Wanted: Borrow: Engine Crane
#1
Has anyone got an engine crane i can borrow - located in the South - happy to pick up and drop off.

Happy to pay in beer tokens/handjobs.... Any help would be awesome.

Was meant to be borrowing from a friend in Chichester but getting no reply.

Looking to borrow from Tuesday 2nd - Saturday 6th, could possibly be finished earlier with it; dependent on hinderences <-- maybe a word??

Anywho, anything around would be awesome! Or even discount on hire??

County hire, who are closer, charging £28 for 3 days - HSS is probably the most expensive i've come across

HSS is £35 a day now! Confused

Or £32 for two days lol (inc. discount). I've been looking into it for removing the HDi block as I nearly broke my back shifting the PD one around. Dropping it out was easy enough but moving it afterwards wasn't so easy!

So I don't suppose anyone local to me has one I could borrow for less than that price? Big Grin Also has anyone used the folding HSS one? Just wondered if it was easily liftable and would fit in the car no problem?

Thanks Darren; I've managed to get one from a friend local to me, hopefully won't need it for longer than a week! Thanks for the offer and info though x
