To elaborate on what mark said, a lot of the newer turbos use better designs of bearing etc which reduce losses and improve spool time so you're better off with going for a newer turbo.

why thankyou for the info really helpfull might just gofor a t25 then as earlier.in the thread there a bit laggy but thats what happens when.you bolt on a bigger blower

try a gt20 series imo...as new as possible without it being vnt....
they spool up fast and carry on going!!

Got a bit heated this thread, so many newbies signing up and expecting to be told how to do stuff no offence like but it is all over the internet, this forum has covered it more times than samas has had sexual thoughts about Ed doe

Its simple in theory big pump big turbo and RESEARCH

its the only way your going to learn otherwise your gonna get loads of shit of ppl because youll be asking how to do this and that which has been covered hundreds of times on the forum

My advise read and read for hours on here look at a bodch manual get one strip it and rebuild it and then youll have a better understanding of how they work etc

piggy did ur wood ruff key come through ?? also guys quick question the ufo part on the bosch pump if i take that off because its leaking just underneath it and reseal in etc.. i wont have to time up anything on the pump or etc ??
