maybe a stupid question?

i had a remap before my exhaust/decat as people at longlife basingstoke said it didnt matter what way it can be done or should of i got the exhuast and decat first and then remap and the people at longlife bstoke are wrong?

Where did you get the remap, unless your getting a custom remap it wont matter what order as it will be the same map going on.

A lot of people say exhaust as you feel the benefits. But doesn't matter. I mapped mine first.

I wouldn't let long life map your car. Heard bad things. You only get 110-115bhp and its about £200? A mapper on here will charge you between £60-150 and you'll gain 120-130bho.

i know but already done now but cos got a low rr print out they want me to take it back to see why got a bad output

Doesn't matter which way round you do it mate, their map is designed for x-engine with their exhaust attached, it's as simple as that really.

If you were live-mapping on a rolling road that would be different, then it would be a case of do the mods first etc.

Came back to my home town to visit parents to get call from longlife and have looked at the file they uploaded on mine and have had a tinkle with it to get more out of it so goin back in tomorrow morning to get re remapped Smile but bad times with typical silly clutch slipping Sad
