Black phase 2.5 TD04 11mm Bosch Dturbo

Time has come to get rid of this. I don't want to scrap it or break it as it has potential, but I'm fed up with all the problems it's had.

It's a good car, runs perfectly, starts on half a crank every time. Bodywork is good, although there are a few small dents around the car, but the black colour hides these quite well so it looks immaculate from most angles.

Reason I'm getting rid of it is because I've just paid out for a new head and head gasket. The head has a crack in the rear coolant pipe port, which means it leaks coolant. This will need welding. Sadly this also now seems to have caused the head gasket to go again (the mechanic put a composite gasket on rather than a MLS despite me asking him to put an MLS on).

So the good points:

- TD04 already fitted and working
- D8A (Phase 1) Engine is very strong (approx 95,000 miles)
- Smoothed bonnet and grille - grille is wrapped and peeling underneath - not visible from front of car.
- 11mm, gov'd, LDA'd bosch
- Rear disc beam
- Black masked crystals
- White cyclones (a few scuffs, but look nice when clean)
- Half leather/alacantre seats from a phase 1 (some wear on drivers' seat, all others close to perfect)
- Cloud 9 underlay under carpet and door cards, less road noise and better bass from sub
- About 170BHP
- Recent timing belt, water pump
- Tyres all have more than 5mm tread - Michelins and pirellis
- Chassis has done over 150,000 miles, but all suspension components have been replaced - lowered about 80mm on the front with gmax shocks and saxo lowering springs. Drives perfectly.
- Recently tinted rear windows and tailgate, with two 306oc stickers on the side windows
- Powerflow catback stainless exhaust recently fitted
- FMIC

Bad points:

- Head gasket
- Head coolant port cracked
- Slight oil leak from turbo oil lines, turbo has no play though and blows very nicely
- Few small dents
- May need new brake discs, possibly warped after a hard drive then going through a huge puddle (lots of steam coming from wheels)

Looking for £900 given the extensive mods and money spent on it recently, though am open to sensible offers.

Taxed and MOT'd ready to drive away - just might need to fill up with water a few times on the way home! Can supply a large bottle of water in the price.

I get very interested for a moment as I thought it was a 2.5 td04...then realised it was a phase2.5

Looks really nice mate think you will struggle to get £900 though with the work that needs doing.
