Suitable Hdi cooler?
#1
Thinking of inter-cooling the daily to make the work commute a bit more fun, but also as cheap as possible, would this be ok?

I'd say it was a tad too small.

And depending on the length the ic pipes might not fit.

Got any dimensions?

Thats a focus st intercooler isn't it? They don't fit, at least not without some effort.
Try for something else, maybe a mondeo tdci one someone on the xud side is using one and if it's good enough for them it'll be fine for us

Don't fit for what reason? Too wide? I think it's from a tdci, but it does look a lot like a st one, maybe just smaller.

Should add, this is going on a 206.

I think ST have an 11 row, this is a 7 row. I have seen the one on the xud, which made me think this would be fine

Well I had that intercooler and tried fitting it and the inlet pipes just don't line up with the slam panel, would involve fair bit of cutting etc at and was just alot easier to find a different intercooler, go for oem intercoolers though more fun/cheaper.
not sure how different the front end is on a 206

Looks like you'd face same problem as 306 ,passenger side you'd be fine but drivers side the angle of the inlet wouldn't work as stock

For reference, one that size is plenty big enough for stage 2, anything bigger will usually just cause more lag and pressure drop with no gains to speak of.
