wonder if these would work with the current flat type alloy wheel bolts to fit the C5 steeloyes?

the original bolts are either more money than the wheels or not possible to find!

Scrappies mate, place near me sells "steel" wheels for £3 each without tyres Wink

And to clear up confusion..

C5's that were shipped from Europe came with these wheels as transport wheels to save weight for shipping costs. Many were given hubcaps and sold on with these wheels fitted, but the early ones were found to crack around the bolt holes, hence needed the specific part number stamped into them that Scott mentioned.

Also they're almost a ceramic kind of alloy. If anyone's ever shotblasted them like I did with mine, you'll see they're actually quite porous and brittle looking.

Amazingly light though, I nearly fell over lifting them, when I sold them I carried all four wheels at the same time to the courier van.

Do you?

They're a great modification for fast road IMO, the increase in sharpness and response is brilliant, on track you just fry brakes under them as they've got little to no ventilation for brakes...

Yep I fried my old brakes after a few laps with my steels on!! 1155's held up well though, wheels burnt my hand when checking the wheel bolts though lol

Ill have a look on ebay and will take a look round scrapyards.

Got these to refurb and put on soon.

I got 3 tyres with the 4 but all of them are shot so will get my mate to take them off a bin them so if you manage to sell the tyres for the price you paid for the wheels you got a bargain Wink

that was my backup plan...
But I realised it would result in reducing your thread length...

I think its not worth the risk personally...keep searching breakers and ebay would be my bet.

If I come across some I'll let you know

found some...
