Maybe breaking HDI engine
#1
Hi guys, need some help. Looking to declutter the garage as i'll need to move house soon.

I have a HDi engine in the back of the garage, stripped from a 306 when it had done 78K as the previous owner fried the ECU with jump leads. It's been sat in my garage for about 3 years now and I haven't touched it so it's time to stop holding onto this kind of stuff. What kind of prices are things worth?

It's a complete built up engine with turbo, manifold, fuel filter housing, injectors, rail, pump etc - though I may keep some bits as my brother and I both still have HDis'

Price list, based on what i've seen things go for previously:

pump - £80
injectors - £80
filter housing - £30
rail - £15
turbo - £50
head - £50
rods - £60
sump - £15
manifolds - £10 each

Depends how quick you want to sell the parts really. Tbh at 78k it's what passes for low mileage these days, might be worth selling whole, but then again it's been sat for three years so may be seized. The fuel system will probably have suffered badly if it hasn't had diesel in this whole time.

It's been dry stored behind the car in the garage, still full of diesel as i never drained it. It turns freely by hand, no issues there.

Thanks for the advice.
