I believe the linkages are different on 1.4's and 1.6's, maybe someone could elaborate on this?

Thats all you need, just lengthens the level thortening the gear leaver movement.
For those wanting it for a DT it will probably hit the turbo.

Not even looking if it's a Grifths one then its not for the 1.4/1.6 on their website it says suitable for all engines except 1.4/1.6. Must be different in someway

I have one on my DT, it's nowhere near hitting the turbo.
Goes nicely with the compbrake style quickshift

but it says EXCEPT 1.4/1.6 MODELS. mines a 1.6. so will it fit or not?

My bad, I was assuming it would be pretty similar to a 205 as I tried one and it the stock turbo.

Kingy, Depends if your box has the linages as pictured above or a single one on the back with a nuckel joint I believe.
If its the same as above it should fit.
