What size is the wheel? Im guessing 16x6-7" so you're gonna be looking at 205/45 or 195/45

195/45 is what I use.
I have p zero's but might be a bit rich. Toyo proxies.

Matt has referring to the American spelling of tyres, which is tires... And from personal experience i have run 205/45/16s and currently run on 195/45/16s

195/45/16.
Mark will kill me for this - Yoko S.Drives, Dunlop SP Sport Fastresponses or if you're feeling rich and want EPIC tyres - Michelin Pilot Exaltos, incredible tyre for the 306.

What tyre size would people recommend on challengers? Would 225/45/17s be too wide for 306 fitment?

Way too big, you want 205/40/17...
215 width max...

Like Ruan says, stick closer to the OEM 195 if you can, otherwise you'll inherit bloody tramlining and a load of additional tyre noise you might not have previously had!

So to just get this straight, the tyres you have are 225s yes?
If they were 215/40/17 I'd have them straight off of you! Standard size on the Focarse. Disclaimer: The above is not to be taken to heart and is probably a joke, grow up you big girl.
31-05-2012, 03:46 PM
yes, 225/45
If they were 215 40's i'd allow myself to buy some challengers! Letting tyres dictate your wheel choice is definitely not the way forward Dturbo GT2259s build thread; http://306oc.co.uk/forum/thread-3692.html Daily driver; 330d Msport (doesn't blow up!)
