Hey i know ive not been on in a while.
Girlfriend just locked keys in car. sitting in ignition
came into house n went back out doors were locked.
Anyway i can get in, she needs to get in to go to work in morning.
Anyone help??

got sorted thanks, got a mechanic friend had an airbag and got keys out.
stupid modern cars with no doorpins and deadlocks

Btw, not sure if '05 ibizas have the same vag setup as the golf.........but mine started locking itself and was a faulty door lock module......

all vags do it seemingly according to the mechanic, have a timer if door is opened and closed without locking.
Although i know there is a loose connection in the door lock module, came up when i plugged it in to my netbook.
Just havet had the time to fix it for her yet

My gritter does it... But awkward when it's -3 and your about to go out, but shut the door a tad hard and it's sets the central locking off

Anyone else coming into mechanics who leaves the keys in the ignition: leave a window open too.
But seriously, nothing wrong with leaving the keys in the ignition imo, often makes life easier, i never lose the keys any more for one lol. Just make sure you've got a window open, do it as soon as you pull up to your workspace, then it doesn't get forgotten.
