Welcome to the forum I'm not a huge fan of bodykits to be honest but it looks like a lot of work has gone into it! Is that a proper carbon fibre bonnet or is it just wrapped?
08-05-2012, 08:28 PM
no real carbon cost me £800
08-05-2012, 08:29 PM
Wow good effort. Least you did a proper job of it!

Looks like you've put a lot of time and effort in there. Not my cup of tea but fair play for doing something different from the 'drop it 40mm and fit some clones' guys.
I can get away with it....my car came with clones

You mean you looked for one that already had clones so you only had to do the 40mm drop cos you're lazy?

Still not too late Standard bumpers you can pick up for a very decent price, and I'm sure you could cover the costs if you sold your current bumpers and skirts on ebay?
08-05-2012, 08:41 PM
ive kind of stopped spending money on it just keep it up together started saving for something a bit faster
08-05-2012, 08:50 PM
Wow. That's very different. Again appreciate the workmanship, looks like it was done to a high standard. Just IMO looks to huge lol

Good effort mate, can see you have put a lot of time and effort into this. It shows. As people have said, not my cuppa tea, but fair play to you for not following the crowd, and for doing something your way.
I'm afraid I'm one of these 'clones and 40mm' guys, but like Niall, my car came with the clones, and mine lowered itself by the 40mm by shitting its rear beam . Welcome to the forum! Bit of a throw back to the 90s/early 2000s
As has been said above though if you sold off all the kit on ebay you could easly cover the cost of oem bumpers, and have some spare change in your pocket to chuck some gti6 cams/ inlet/throttle bodie/ ex manifold ect and get some extra poke
