well im fairly sure most of you know but for those who dont and those coming from google here is a quick guide
just a quick overview, ill cover removing air vents and removing fan control panel
Tools
Flathead scredriver
T20 Torx
8mm spanner (or small ratchet)
firstly start of by getting the flathead in between the trim and pull away, this bit is only clipped in so should just pop out
[attachment=12]
next off, if you have the origional HU then use the reccomended way of getting it out or if you have an aftermarket HU like me then prize the trim out then pull the HU out making sure not to pull on the wires too much or damage the HU
[attachment=11]
behind htere youll usually find 2 speed clips, simply push the tabs and theyll pop out
i didnt get any pics of the next bit because quite simply they weren't there when i removed it but if you put your hand through the hole where the HU used to be there will be 2 8mm nuts either side
if you get your hand in there to undo them, its a little fiddly
[attachment=10]
going back to the bottom of the facia undo the torx screws either side of the clock
[attachment=9]
then undo the 2 that hold the clock in...
[attachment=8]
pull the clock out and unplug the clock like so...
[attachment=7]
now you can pull the most part of the facia off, its got some locators that attach into the fan controls so may be a little stiff
going up to the top, looking under the top vents there are 3 more torx located here...
the driver is on the middle one, there is one to the left and the right hand one had already been removed
[attachment=6]
using the flathead screwdriver you can now carefully prize the drivers vent off
this has always been a bit of a tricky bit trying not to chip it or break it so go carefull and use other flatheads as well
you should end up with something along these lines...
[attachment=5]
ive tried to get a good look at the tabs that hold the vent to the facia here, they hook over so unclip these as you go
[attachment=4]
then you should be left with something like this!
[attachment=3]
to remove the fan control panel its a simple 4 more torx
found in each corner
[attachment=2]
next comes the tricky bit, i decided to unclip the wires underneath(green and yellow ones here)
[attachment=1]
and rotate it to bring it out from where the facia used to be to get to the electrical connection on the back
you need to pull up a black tab in the middle of the plug then wiggle it out
like so..

et viola! one facia removed!
