Rear Beam and Brake squeeking while turning?

Hey everyone,

I am aware that there is a member on here that makes high quality rear beams. I am seriously considering replacing mine soon as the car handles dreadful and the one side is lower than the other. The question is really how much should I pay to have the beam replaced? Is there anywhere anyone knows in the midlands that would be a good place to change it. The problem I have it then also getting the axel to where ever would do it unfortunately which is why I am considering going to IMAxel as they have said they will change it as well and I can just drive in and drive out with a new one.

Also since having my rear brake pads replaced I have been hearing a high pitched squeeking noise as I turn left. I have had a google and people say that it would be the wheel bearing. Which kind of makes sense as it would allow the wheel and brake disk to tilt under cornering.
My next question really is this, Are the wheel bearings part of the axles that I would be getting or would that be more stuff I would have to buy? I am getting bored of all the clunks, squeeks, rattles and poor handling I am close to just So***** the car off and just getting a nicer modern one 

Any good advice or cheap fixes would be really appreciated as I don't want to just keep chucking money at suspension bits and bearings etc to only feel no difference haha.

Stef205 is the beam man on here, about £280 for a refurb one. best drop him a PM for cost & info.
Mounts, you can get Febi ones off ebay for a reasonable price. - 6 bolts to undo/redo when fitting your beam.
bearings are a separate item.
calipers etc just swap over.
I had a s/h beam fitted this summer, made a world of difference.

Thats the guy cheers. I think I am gonna try and do it cheap though. If I am not getting it fitted at the place I am getting the axel from I am just going to try find all the parts as cheap as I possibly can and then do it my self with a mate or two

I am going to begin looking for all the mounts and find the cheapest places to get them (on offers etc and eBay) and same with the bearings. Then keep my eye open for an second hand refurbbed beam.

Can refurb my calipers then when they are off as well as they really are binding. They heat the rear wheels up when I am driving -_- haha

These are half the price of a febi bilstein kit of Eurocarparts even with 30% discount on there. But would they be a pile of crap thats the problem :/ haha. If I can get all the parts with that much cheaper than ECP I'd be happy haha

not sure about the mounts, reading other threads, most members recommended going for the Febi ones.
I got mine from aceparts_uk. apprx £16 each for the 'handed' front ones & £13 for a pair of rear mounts. Plus postage I think.

Need to find me a refurbished rear beam as well. Hopefully a decent not too old one when someone breaks their car. Might as well do the bearings as well I suppose while the axle is off. I suppose I could tell if they were broken or damaged when I take it off. They don't seem too bad on there but if I can get them cheap enough I may as well do them while it's all in pieces.

Found out that Mister-Auto does some very reasonable prices for rear beam stuff. Going to start piecing together everything I need to re-build and replace the rear axle.

I am hoping that the shocks that I have fitted now to my ruined beam are actually still okay and haven't been damaged by being on a seized beam.
