My weekend project..

Thought some of you might be interested in what I got up to this weekend.. I've welded this framework up for the back of my Dad's boat so he can fit a solar panel and wind generator. Did around 90 welds, using 20 filler rods and a whole bottle of gas. And lots of tea.


I'll stick some more pictures up when it's fitted.

Very nice welds! I wish I could weld never mind as nice as that!
I flicked through the pics before reading the text and thought that's for a nice boat! ??? What's the boat?

Doesn't that depend on the commonly accepted rule that its a boat if its under 197feet LOA?  how big is your dad's jonny Big Grin


surely we can assume that all (suitably sized) yachts are boats, but not all boats are yachts

That's a 362, which is the slower cruising version.
