Coming back to a 306
#1
So after owning an mx5 and an Octavia vrs think its time to return to a 306 (as everyone does) miss all my other ones my first sigma xud d-turbo, my ph1 sigma Gti and my silver stage 2 hdi estate. So now I'm on the hunt for a hdi d turbo I'm not in a rush so going to see what's about. Also good to see the forum is still going strong.

That's how much I paid for mine, you get a lot of car for the money they are fairly quick and fun but the electrical problems are a nightmare worse than a 306 the doors play up all the time and parts overall aren't as cheap as a 306.

Heh they all come back. Or at least those with good taste do. Wink

Also, 46mpg out of an Octavia vrs? I call bullshit, it's a 1.8T in a 1.5t vehicle....

You wouldn't get 46mpg even on a long run. Motorway you'll get around 35mpg and town high 20's.

Mine would get low 40's on a long motorway run, but round town I was happy to get 20. As for the electrical problems, yes. Everything. All the time.
