Hi from the Netherlands

Since I stumble upon this forum in a lot of searches I do for my 306 I thought to also post something about my car. The community over here seems bigger and more active than it is in the Netherlands.

Anyway, I am Ron and I live in the south of the Netherlands. I bought my 306 about a year ago after switching jobs, with the intention of modernizing it a bit. The basis is a 2002 1.6 XT Estate (or Break as it is called over here).



Plans are to convert it to full GTi6 specification and add some more goodies along the way. I will post about that in a separate project thread.

The estate model and 3 Doors model were a rare item for my region.

The car look cool.

I have the feeling the estate was quite populair here. I still see a lot of them about and they were used by a big hardline telephone provider as service car. Was pretty hard to find a decent one though, have seen all that were for sale within a radius of 150 km or so . State of the body and paintwork was of most importance to me.
