I had a phase 1 Dturbo, 10 years ago, then part exed it for the HDI, saw it months later and then the owner decided to put a shitty body kit on it and paint MG ZR yellow! looked are hash! I know the paint work wasn't much cop when I had it but fuckin hell, it looked worse when it was painted yellow!
as for as I know the car ended up in wigan and I think it died there too, as it was advertised on ebay for 150 quid, but never sold. Looked very tatty sadly, I should really have binned it tbh rather than part exed it, as the roof was a way when I had it and I am sure the engine was a ticking time bomb, as later on it had a replacement engine dropped in it. That car had been well f*cked about with sadly, Only had it a year and a bit.

I miss my ph1+2 dturbos too but had to go estate 5 years ago, had one just like your hdi and a China hdi but my gave estate was a ph2 xud on plain green, looked shit but what a cracking wee motor! Can't be many ph3 xud estates about huh?

Favourite is a difficult question!! The china 1.4 was epic at the time. 1st china 1.8 was the most reliable one I owned. GTi6 was obviously the most 'fun'. Either of the estates were excellent load-luggers. Cars are needed for different things, I don't see how anyone keeps a single car for like 10 years when so much changes in that time.

I've also had a 206 HDi GLX and 2 106 1.5D Zest 2 in the PSA line. Plus quite a few other marques now also.

Better add the latest GTi6 to my list lol...
