No drugs here dude Exclamation not today anyway Nospeak Just a couple of nice chilled beers and yes I'm talking about the 306 estate, I spent my childhood in the back of 504 + 505 estates and they really were great workhorses and family cars at the same time, much like the 306 with xud or Hdi, if you've never owned one then fair dos but they are excellent little estates that take everything you throw at them and rarely breakdown if maintained!
Nearly all the 504 and 505 estates that were here we're bought up in the late 90's and early 2000's and shipped over to Africa for taxis where it's quite common to see them with half a million miles plus!
Legendary big motors from back in the day and the 306 is about the closest thing to such reliable cheap to run near indestructible estate cars you will see from Peugeot

To anyone who happens upon this thread, I'm 39 and been driving almost nothing but 306's and a few other pugs for the last 15 years and after growing up through the 70's, 80's ( group B lol) and 90's in the rear of all sorts of big family pugs that were all all a little bit tweaked by my dad (turbo engine ear lol) I really have been living pug life all my life and have a deep love for the Marque almost as much as Honda MX bikes when they were proper Jap bikes!
After owning 16 306's, most as daily's, the 3 Estate cars I've owned have served me amazingly and quite likely earned me £100k - £200k plus load lugging and working their ass off for me and for a £500 to a grand outlay give me a working 306 estate all day everyday til I retire and I'll be a happy rich fukr cos they cost nothing to run !!!!
Best £500 you will ever spend!!!!!

Nah, they have too many issues. The dturbo 406 estate is the car you mean - very hard to kill (except balljoints)

406 HDi Exec with leathers, cruise, climate... Far nicer than a 306! Big Grin

Also, my 306 estate wasn't great, it couldn't take the abuse I threw at it, just fell apart around the engine... lol

A nice 406 Exec HDI Estate will cost quite a bit more than a 306 HDI Estate though Tom Tongue

I must admit I think it should be the 406 estate, I had one for 12 months before getting the 306, and it was probably the smoothest comfiest car I've ever owned, just a shame my misses wrote it off, she seems to be good at that lol
I must ban her from driving

I get what you's are saying about The 406 as I have owned a couple but they just don't drive like a 306 and in my opinion the 306 is a better drivers car!
Each to their own of course!
