So went to a scrap yard today with a sundance GTi, it had front end damage because the idiot fell asleep on a motorway and hit a barrier. Initially went for a rear bumper but it was in pretty bad condition. But found out the bootlid was immaculate. Someone superglued the badge on mine so thought if replace it with this one instead of respraying it.

And found this blue rallye carpet in there as well so I asked him what he wanted for it and he seemed to think it was the standard carpet so got an absolute bargain :Big Grin

Are the blue carpets rare? I know of one out of a s1 106 I could pick up for a fiver.

Let's hope the boot is the same shade of sundance!

The carpet I'm gonna clean up and sell as they can go for quite a bit. Either way I will make my money back on that and the boot seems close enough Smile will look better than the current one

It is really tempting, I quite like it. I'm not to fussy about weight now it's got some power behind it

might need a bit of an adjustment, as car carpets don't always go back as they should!
