If you look it goes off quarterly figures so it was accurate at that exact point but its not an 'upto current date' correct value.

So its surprisingly accurate if you want to know what the chances are of seeing one on the road then?

you just have to go by how many were made and the age of the car.

Surely there is more than one taxed and insured in the entire UK. I've seen more than that on ebay over the last 6 months...

Seen a few SORNed ones, and a couple of the base x4 models, but no runners for mi16x4's when I've been having a look.

Perhaps that's where I'm getting this idea from then.

It would very much surprise me if there is just one being driven in the whole of mainland UK though.

The problem with that site is it seems to have several variants for identical cars.

For example with the Focus Titanium, there's either 109 TD at 2000 left or 109 TDCi at 6000 left, but both start at year 2008 so are actually the same engine! Confused

Exactly, you just have to learn to use the site. It's pointless quoting that there are only 10 106 1.0 Graduate's in blue left (or something similar), because who gives a f*ck lol. You have to tally up the results for similar specs for it to mean anything really.
