Hi All,
Track time is once again available at FCS. Looks to be very cheap two hour sessions at £75 for 2 hours or £25 for 15 minutes.
If those of us who want to take long sessions or even short sessions can post what are thoughts are we can all agree on a time to book so we are on track together.
TWO HOUR OPEN PIT SESSION 9 AM - 11 AM (SESSION 1) - £69.95
TWO HOUR OPEN PIT SESSION 11.45AM - 1.45 PM (SESSION 2) - £75.00
TWO HOUR OPEN PIT SESSION 2.30 PM - 4.30 PM (SESSION 3) - £75.00
15 MINUTE TRACK SLOT ALLOCATED PM - A - £25.00
Looks like each session is limited to 20 cars on the track. If you are open to different times please post with /s as i have done below.
===============================================
1. SRowell - 2 Hours - Session 1/2/3

its that the track is open for 2 hours. 20 cars on track at any one time. They will sell more than 20 tickets which means you could be waiting to go on track if its full. You can come on and off the track but its not open pits. You can come off and park off track or maybe in the pit lane but thats all.
Sam Bates and I did it this year and it was great fun! Definitely value for money seeing as £25 only gets you 15 minutes and in reality thats only 12 minutes!

Can you buy two allocated 15min slots?? As £50 for 30min on track seems cheaper than £75 for potentially jist a lot of queuing!

having done the 2 hours last time Sam left track early due to rain and I used about an hour and a half of my time. Its better value for money to do more.
2x15 minute = 24 minutes total - then bear in mind you cant do one 15 min straight after another! so its going to result in queuing again anyway!
2 Hours = 2 hours!

2 hours was good last year, the first 45 mins was really shit, I didn't get a hot lap because of the amount of people breaking down and getting the session red flagged which put me at the back of the queue again. After that though I was out there solidly apart from a 5min break to let myself cool down as much at the car as it was f*cking hot in there and I think I queues about 2 mins to get back on then.
It looked like they sold about 40 tickets to allow 20 cars on track which is really shit but then so is the amount of people that broke down and got it red flagged. By the end of the session there was only 20 cars running so I can kinda see why they do it but its shit for those of us who don't take unroadworthy cars on the track.
15mins is terrible, they are fun if you get out but invariably some pillock bins it or breaks down on the first hot lap and you get red flagged and by that time your more than half way through the session.

Last years "2" hours was a bit wank I felt in some ways, as said they kept kicking everyone off because of one dick
Not sure how much time I was on for but feel it wasn't far off 1 hour

how does the two hour work? do you have to keep coming off in 15min sessions or is it one block,
if you come off before your 2 hours is up, are you fast tracked down the pit lane to avoid the que?

Last time I done the 1 and 3 also and yeah its annoying when you got to get off, but that crash could also happen in the 15 mins to which could mess you up...
It's worth it in my eyes especially the last on as everyone has either crashed or car has broke :L so you come in when you want a 2 min wait and your back out.
Saying that even the first session, I was hardly waiting to go back out...
