Hi all!

I bought my Gti-6 about 18 months ago and am of course loving it!
A bit different to the 205d that I had in the early 90's!

Cheers!

Thanks guys.

Plans are... Gradually, due to finances, replace all the worn out bits, mildly upgrading where appropriate. Already put Kayaba ultra sr dampers on it, with new top mounts up front. Also standard Mintex everything all round plus braided hoses and good new fluid. New 2.25" cat back stainless system from Charlie at Pro Speed in Cardiff, which sounds just right outside the car, varying between quiet and loud inside!
Other than that, just getting on top of it and enjoying it when I can.
Ultimately, I want to enter the standard road-going class in hillclimb and maybe sprints. I've done some before the kids arrived, a long time ago, and some Prescott school days. Hoping to get some runs in at Pugfest and/or the Prescott Revival.

Need to find more opportunities for blasts on local and Brecon Beacon roads this summer.....

Im still very much a maybe in my 306 as its currently sat there with no MOT and a list as long as my arm of bits it needs to pass one lol

And no worries, best way with the 306 community is to dive it head first and get involved in the meets / shows Big Grin

Hope u get that sorted soon. I know a great 'one man' mech near Chepstow, if u need help...
I can't make a major time commitment, as I'm in Round Table, etc etc... and in any case, I'm not into showing, but prefer driving... know what I mean? ;o)
I hope to get to Pugfest for some runs up Prescott. Did a couple at another event last summer - just after a downpour!
