Just standard everything was her run about to work and that so need to drop a new engine in now was thinking of cable ties BT think it's to for gone for that lol :-)

It just happens, varying different reasons people will say have caused it, manufacturing imperfections etc..
Some chuck rods even though they're completely stock.

Nearly as bad as the 2.0 pinto in the mk2.. Rod let go at 6k and went through the fibreglass bonnet lol

Gettaway my VNT engine is still stock (bar headstuds). Its the painted block that makes it stronger

Well think about the extreme forces the rods are put under in just about every direction. They have to be bloody strong and all it takes is an imperfection in them or a bit of extreme force and it will weaken them and then its just downhill from there lol

Wouldn't worry about adding the Bosch...if it's gonna fail it'll fail regardless of pump or mileage or engine speed... Main reason I'd never own an XUD lol, it'd always be in my mind.
That is a hell of a mess though lol, never seen one so bad!
