Wife had a bit of an argument with a post in Sainsburys in Milton Keynes, so heres my 1.8i Petrol Meridian (2000)
Need a WIW really, as I have no idea (not much is my thought, but lets see!)
Quite low miles, good engine. Body work is ok to good generally (aside from the front drivers side wing)
Drivers seat bolster has NO tears (see picture) this must be worth £60 on its own!
Drives ok, brakes fine (as fine as peugeot brakes go) got a bluetoothy stereo in there.
Need a new wing, a good clean and itll be a lovely car for many years to come!
How much do we think guys?

Roughly scrap value with that wing....
I only got £460 for a good condition 1.8 Meridian with a new clutch, service and full MOT last year. High tax, insurance and fuel costs puts people off them.

In all honesty, I was hoping for £250, Im aware its not worth mega bucks!!
Someone who has and can put a new wing on would be the best! if it wasnt welded on, id do it myself!

It's not welded on...
Theres only two spot welds along the top which you can pop off with a screwdriver, the rest is all bolted on.
Even with a better wing you won't get much though, 1.8 Meridians just aren't sought after like the XS's, GTi's or diesels.

As tom says they're not welded on, if you've got a socket set with some long extensions they are easy to remove

Might as well trade the 306 in at the same time then. Save you the hassle of fixing or selling it privately.

It's gonna put the value up a couple of hundred fixing the wing imo

I'd change the wing then trade it in. Traders tend to give high prices for part ex

Issue with trade in, the cars we are looking at are already worth less than the trade in value of my Honda!
Plus the plan was to take the 306 off the road, claim tax and insuance money back, save wasting it on a car which is just sat on the drive!

Yeah as the others have said really, you might get £250 in its current condition if you're a good salesman, but i'd be surprised.

Fix the wing. You can get one for about £20 and then its an easy job to change. Ive changed several now and its really not difficult!

Honda has other issues, I need to get a dealer to take it.
Dont want a private person banging on my door when they find out.

They won't bang on your door if you're honest and mention faults when selling

Wish i'd seen this earlier Craig-O!
Now for sale, got 2 months MOT on it. No Tax currently sitting unloved in my garage. Come and rescue it before I buy a polisher and use it to practice!!
Got a China wing? Buy it, stick wing on, sell for $profit$
Call it £200! Gotta be worth £500 with a normal wing!
