there is a working gamecube emulator for pc. think its called dolphin. it works well on my i7 with decent memory and graphics card but its still not the same as the real thing
The pokemon games are good if you like that sort of thing.
Mario Sunshine and Luigi's Mansion are both excellent games, you must play them.
Harvest moon is a funky rpg, you basically start off by looking after the farm your father has left you but you develop through the game to get a family, improve the farm, etc.
Pikmin is fun if you like strategy games.
Those are all I can think of right now off the top of my head but there are loads of good games for it and it was a seriously underrated console. I keep coming back to it and I'm on my 3rd now.
That's bloody good. I technically got mine for free, just had to pay postage to the guy but ended up giving him a little more when it turned up with about 10 games and a wireless controller.
Started toying with emulators last few days, most of my consoles are in original boxes that I don't wanna damage by opening constantly
Got ones for NES, SNES, N64, MegaDrive, Master System, Game Gear, GameBoy, GameBoy Colour and GameBoy Advance, can't get any of the disc console emulators to work though. Surprisingly everything runs fine even on my Intel Atom powered netbook, even the N64 one!
Does anyone remember one of these I got it about 12 years ago from a jumble sale been in my parants cupboard since it was working then so assume it still works
Also have the gu aswell. Whats it worth if its working and would someone on here want it?

I found the loading time was a good chance to read a related magazine!

Riiiiiight! About time i got my collection up
Let me start off with im not a serious collector or owt and im not bothered about everything having its own box! Some of my stuff are boxed most are not and some of my stuff are not old enought to be in this collection but meh it will be soon lol
Also i know im lacking in the games department but they will come soon once im not as busy.
Xbox
Bbc bridge companian pretty rare but not a desirable console
Sega master system with alex the kid built in
Sega dreamcast
N64
Another n64
Snes
Nes
Gamecube
Ps1
Box of ps1 + 2 pads couple of third party controllers but most of them are real, theres around 30 in that box
Ps2
Random bits, forgot a couple more wheels and a couple of rockbands, buzz etc etc
Psp
Random handhelds, my fav is in there see if you can guess which it is?
Another game gear
Atari 7800
Mastersystem
Yet another n64
More to follow Sent from my iPhone More handys
Psp games
Another gamecube
Mega drive 2
More sega and snes
Few games and handhelds
Another gameboy
More segas
And a pic of it all sitting in the loft
I must say that none of the items you see are in the same picture, i have multiples of a few items.
I have probably missed a few aswell as its hard to keep track of stuff and keep items with the same brand and im adding to it regular which just makes it time consuming
And yes i do play with all this
I used to bring a console down and play it for a bit and get games along the way whilst playing but im soo busy at the minute that im struggling to find time to play, Ill get back to it eventualy and start building on my games.
seeing those photos of those game consoles brings me back to the 90s! My mate had practically every game console going, He used to slate every new game console that came out. Then at xmas he would get the game console he slated, and it was the greatest thing since sliced bread!
I think the PS2 was his favourite one out of them all, He had every game for that. Gave the games away in the end and binned the console. The xbox 360 is the only one my mate uses now, the wii was given away too.
Seeing the NES/SNES's reminds me of a my childhood (Go's to scan Ebay) Got an older 360, but that doesn't make me retro, just too tight to get the latest gen stuff.

What you got and how much?
I'll have to dig it out and go through it all soon but
I've definitely got a GameCube with 2? Controllers and I think and original ps1 with a couple controllers and a 4way controller splitter which is brand new iirc plus games for both. Also not so retro but have a psp with a few games complete with box if I can find the charger.
Segas are In The loft and will have to find them before I know what's left
