Door cards are done and straps in place pretty happy with them just need to find a way to secure them in place. Any tips?

And now have just 1 ram thing holding the boot up. Debating taking that one out as well don't really need to open the boot for long periods of time

It looks better with rivets imo. Looks sturdy and well built. If you measure properly and use larger rivets it will look very professional.

agreed, as if you need to get behind there, you can just drill the rivets out.

Fair point I'll get some rivets soon. Happy with the progress. Hopefully getting the brakes sorted out end of the month

For the ease of it I'd leave the boot ram in place. It doesn't weigh anything surely?!

Have you considered keeping the heater? They are very useful for colder days, which are most of the time In the UK. Sure, the standard one isn't as light as an expensive aftermarket job, but it's not much heavier.

Don't really want to keep it, it's all ripped out now apart from the matrix. Getting some black rivets for extra style points haha http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.vie...1209381871

Nathan, can you weld or know someone who can?
as some of the racers I know when they have build their cars, do away with the holes in the shell, that's been left after they have removed various stuff, like the air blower box and heater matrix.

Keep your matrix there fella. Much simpler.
Then if you do need it, simple fan and cowling lash up is light and very useful!
No interior results in a lot of damp/condensation. heat hugely helps to clear it

Have you riveted the door cards yet? If not what about using a bit of silicone to keep the clean flush look?

How sting will it be? When pulling the door pulls it pulls against the plastic so need to make sure it won't peel off after time

all depends on what stuff you use, as you do get some strong panel glues that body shops use now.
