Head set...for other gaskets and seals etc
Coolant perhaps
Engine oil/filter
Check ya aux belt too...maybe worth doing

Get it checked. If its not overheating and you remove it cold it should be fine though

I'd take it to an engineers to have it checked my local one doesn't charge for checking just skimming

TBH those 8v TU's take a LOT of punishment, I've never NEEDED to get one skimmed, but if it's going to take some serious abuse it may be worth it.
I love these engines in these cars, I've managed a head gasket on one it 45 minutes before now (just ask Ruan!)

Easiest head gasket change in the world...
But yeah, if it's been overheated badly it'll need a skim, if it's not overheated, you'll probably be OK!

1. Unbolt exhaust manifold from head
2. Drain Coolant
3. Unplug Fuel Pipes/Wiring loom
4. Remove top Cambelt cover
5. Release cambelt tension
6. Undo headbolts
Literally that simple!
