My starter spins my 1.9 up fine, but a hdi one will spin it faster and that'll help with these cold morning 100% veg starts.

need a part number? http://public.servicebox.peugeot.com/ and http://service.citroen.com/ will sort you out.

Any way guys not questioning the reasons why I want one I just want one that's it, hopefully slam wagon will sort me out

Right I see so, am I right in thinking the faster one has 11 teeth?

Not the tidiest but didnt have a problem with it when removed.

Any chance you can count how many teeth are on the cog please? So I can make sure it's one that'll spin my engine over quicker.

Is it too early in the morning for me but surely less teeth means more speed? more teeth would make the starters life easier though it wouldn't spin as fast? Please correct me if im talking shit

Less teeth, less strain on starter but also less speed of turnover.
More teeth, more strain, but also more speed....assuming the starter must be a higher wattage too?! Im thinking like a bicycle gearing by the way, coz early here too! Wishes for more power...

(bicycle) The wheel is the flywheel and the crank is the starter. So if you had a bike with like 21gears with 3 options for gears at the pedal crank, think what happens if you change one of the gears at the pedal crank...not at the wheel! Wishes for more power...
