There is no ecu, nor immobilizer unless you have the keypad thingy, all you need is a 12v ignition live to the stop solenoid on the pump..

All ya have to do is swap the engine and get 12v to the soliniod on the pump.

Are you swapping the fuel pump from the original engine? If not you may need to cut off the stop solenoid anti tamper cover and change the solenoid. That's if the replacement engine came from a car with an immobiliser.

Because he's a car salesman/breaker and wants us to think he's here for more than just the money he's getting from people on the site?? lol

Probably trying to fix up a cheap shitter to sell on this time as well.... Though it's not a quick flip clearly! lol

Timing is out, or the racoon filter is blocked, have a search for it

I feel I should be helpfull after my previous comments.

Check the double breasted whippet flange for the white smoke issue, if it wasn't changed at last service.

For a cambelt wobble,in my experience, means you need a new clutch, havn't been wrong yet.

Cheers.
Danny.

I'd consider the above post completely unhelpful, downright dangerous in fact, as looking at it just made me cough up and choke on my cereal.

You can get rid of the cam shaft too, fairly pricey mod, but it seems fairly reliable and good gains.

It's an option. However I don't believe it will go as fast.
