quick question, after busting sump on the van today
have a couples spare engines but theyre non aircon and the van has aircon
is there any difference between sumps?
and will a non aircon sump fit my aircon equipped engine

Wont fit. Air con pump bolts to the sump as well.
Assuming its a xud/hdi as its a van

its a 306 dturbo xud car thats been converted to van (cheaper tax here in ireland)
thought it wouldnt fit butjust double check

If the aircon doesnt work then you can use a non AC sump and bin the AC system, if it works and you want to keep it then you will need an AC sump

Not that im aware of, would need a different AUX set up though as the belt would need to be shorter

might pull whole setup of another engine so..
Tried searching but cant seem to find it, is it a paper gasket or liquid on these?

Think its a card gasket, thats what i have anyway, and sealant would probably help too

XUD's are paper gasket Tom, it's the HDi's that came with sealant only. But TBH the ones that leak generally have been removed and replaced with the wrong stuff.
