Gearknob collar

How do i go about removing it? The gearknob pulled off but the collar doesnt seem to want to budge

Well, I've never seen that happen before!

It should just pull off, didn't even realise it was separate from the knob tbh! Though you may find someones glued it on to stop it moving/coming off.

I checked the gearknob guide on the site and it shows the same thing. I ended up getting the collar off then sawing off the remaining white plastic sleeve underneath which is glued on solid btw, no way was that pulling off lol

I've removed loads of them lol, the white bit shouldn't have been glued on, pair of pliers pulls it off if they separate usually!

It was my first time and lasted longer than expected (oo-er!)
I tried pulling,twisting,pliers, you name it. In the just sawed it upwards from the bottom and broke it off with a screwdriver in loads of little shards lol
