Edit there is a great B road near Shaftesbury with several tight hairpins bit like Prescotts 2nd Hairpin.

Zig Zag hill...it's interesting on a motorbike when you haven't seen it before !

The upper road between Shaftesbury and Blandford is still closed so the lower one is busy, but heading down the road towards Sixpenny Handley and Tollard Royal shouldn't be too bad.

Here is the planned driving route for those who fancy a bit of motoring.

Its basically a trip from the pub to Chippenham, through Lacock, touch Melksham, through Calne and back to the pub. We do come close to the Castle Combe Race Circuit, an excellent place, but as racing is taking place we would be charged entry. If the meet was earlier I would suggest going.
