seeking: DT gearbox

ok so my neighbour spotted me crawling about under my car the other day and started talking to me about her 306, she said the 5th gear is gone in the box and wants to know how to get a replacement 'box for it.
so, if anyone reasonably local has one spare, in good condish, with lowish miles on it if poss, can you let me know so i can go to her with some options?

oh yeah, its a ph2 DT, cant remember the reg so i cant check the engine code, but will update when i check

It will be a DHY engine but any DT/HDI box will be fine on it

I have 2/maybe 3 DT boxes at home, I'm just maybe a bit far away!!

Shouldnt be too hard to find one for pennies. I scrapped one a while back because theyre just so cheap/worthless

Sam there's shit loads of DTs at bridges. Go down and get a box from there.

theres a few on ebay, rebuilt ones for 400 quid, second hand ones for like 50

Don't you dare pay anywhere near that! IIRC as long as the box is a BE4 bell housing then it will fit onto the XUD block

£50 is too much for a DT box and to get one from the scrappys will be £ra*e.99,

You could have one of mine but as I say, getting it will be the problem! try Kris B......he might have some lying about if he has done conversions to HDi for people

yeah i figured egay would be trying to ra*e my wallet! i have a spare xsi box... i just figured all the ratios would be different...?
