gear changes feel a bit notchy
#1
ive noticed recently that my gear changes are becoming more notchy. ive had a bit of an issue with my top engine mount but its since been sorted, could this have caused the bottom engine mount to wear quickly aswell, thus having notchy gear changes? i know it may well be gear linkages but thought i would start with the easy bit first? would anyone recommend a powerflex bottom engine mount? i know this has probably been covered before, but any new info would be much appreciated. cheers.

Change the gear oil.

What he said ^^ Put genuine peugeot oil for that box, they seem to be super fussy on oil / most things kill them! likely already has the incorrect oil in it tbh.

Also, make sure that the clutch is disengaging fully - if it's only part-disengaging and dragging it'll do the gear change (not to mention the gearbox/synchros) no favours at all.
