So glad I sold the 106 Wink as said before if that cage wasn't there wouldn't be suppised if the car was ripped in 2

Nasty but unsurprising - they were going at some pace and a sizeable tree has no give it in! The roll cage and fact that they didn't hit it square on unquestionably saved them from major harm.

If you've got a choice of what to hit, trees and concrete pillars are the two things to avoid at all costs.

PS. Anyone notice the complete lack of any urgency from the marshall?

sadly one of the lads I used to go to school, died in a car crash, He hit tree with his supra. like you say try and avoid trees and concrete pillars at all costs!
