Not much gone on unfortunatly due to lack of time and funds, i received an email saying 9 weeks til FCS so thought better crack on and get this updated aswell
got the turbo welded up and back on the car and looks like it clears just fine now
got all the waterpipes mounted up, also the rad as had to make some brackets to mount it up, miles gear linkages also on, then i it was time for switch on again
bit of smoke but its down to the fuelling so will sort it, the happiness was short lived as when i looked underneath there was a puddle of oil i investigated to find i forget to tighten the oil return lol so sorted that.
then fitted the clutch cable up and was perfect for all of 10mins then age took its toll and the fucker snapped lol so now im after a 306 clutch cable to hopefully fit.
also picked up a spare engine for the kangoo - raz to the rescue lol
not many pics im afraid as just trying to crack on but hopefully ill get another vid of it running under it own steam net weekend as iv got sunday off again
oh and a big thanks to paul (warlord) for his kind donation of his spare hdi gearbox
if someone would like to donate a dt clutch cable or some 266 discs and pads they would be greatfully appreciated just so i can get it rolling
comments as per usual

Right just a quick update, this was running ok til i lost reverse but it was a dubious gearbox anyway and also had some turbo clearance issues.
So whipped the block out and did some fixing if the bulkhead with a hammer also fitted my spare gearbox plus new clutch cable, pur it all back together and got no gears at all so looks like the clutch is fcuked
This weekend ill hopefully get the box off and fit the brand new clutch but still got to sort out fmic, electrics, mot and tax but only got about 3 days between now and fcs so looks like the leon may be coming
Oh on a plus i got a rear half if a safety devices cage for £52 just need to get the front half

Well a rare occasion happened, i actually had 3HOURS spare today so seized the opportunity.
Gearbox off, old clutch out, brand new clutch back in, box back on, fluids all topped up and coolant bled then turned the key.
And its running a treat still pops out of reverse but if held in its no probs so can sort that after, now for the rest of the list
Ill post a vid of martin having a play in it later lol

Went down yesterday and plodding in with little jobs that need doing and getting that list down heres a couple pics if how it stands (literally threw the front end together as i need a gti valance)
And one of the gauges lit up
The list now stands at
Wire up volts
Rewire the shambles of a stereo
Fit drivers side lights
Re-solder indicators
Drill and tap bonnet hinges due to some idiot shearing the bolts
Fit some bonnet catches
Fit exhaust
MOT
TAX
INSURE
Then blow it up

Rallye arches on black and white cars give a very aggressive stance. I got the gti kit for my own only because I think red looks odd with rallye arche.
Awesome car mines in a million pieces aswell so I know how you feel.
