Not starting when hot
#1
Strange one starts pretty much straight up at cold but once warm won't start just spins and spins. Once its cooled down again its fine. Could this be a fuel thing at all or something more serious? What can I check and try to eliminate things? Running veg atm but never had problems before.

I know two lads with Toyota's recently that had the same issue. Starters overhauled and both perfect now.

So how can it be the starter? Pissing me off now sat at Argos since about 11 o'clock and still won't start.

Could the stop solenoid be affected by the heat, maybe resistance in the wiring or summit?

Think it might be starter now someone has explained it. I was thinking when starter was mentioned they thought it was not catching flywheel but might be worn bushes so gone try a new one first Smile

Solinoid is gettin 12v checked that. IF starter makes no difference i will look at fuel
