Lol, you doubled the hp, the mpg isnt going to stay the same if you drive it hard all the time...the MPG will always remain the same if you use the same amount of power, your not, so its going to decrease...and dont tell me you still drive it like a granny all the time like it used to be lol.

Have you actually measured the mpg? Might not be as bad as you think...the price of diesel makes it look bad lol!!

I dont drive like no granny... I was forced to because it was unbeleivably slow Just thought i've been driving the same style since it was tuned and just this week i seemed to be putting in lots more fuel :/ I havent properly measured it just guessing by how often i put fuel in lol
Its probably me just being a noob as usual lol

But if your well into the fuel light £10 will hardly even add enough fuel to the tank to turn the light off!

The lights on these arent amazing.
Fill it to the brim, drive 100 miles and then brim it again.
That way you can work out your actual mpg.
Its pay day so you should be able to afford it.
I will warn you the XUD isnt the most economical of cars. My tuned one running on veg averaged less than 40mpg and the std one got just over.

Kind of agree with Chris here, they defiantly aren't as good on the miles as the HDi but at £1 a litre for veg it hardly matters.

If you have an iphone or android there are plenty of apps out there to calculate mpg!

You don't need an app!
Just divide the miles you've done by the number of litres used, then times by 4.5 = MPG

but you can work it out over time as said above just note how many miles youve covered after putting in more and more litres

I don't understand this.....either you stick in 6 times £10 over say a fortnight........or you stick in 1 times £60 over a fortnight.........its the same lol.... :?

But you still put a tankful in......either in tenners, or all at once lol......whats the difference?
Just a quick way to work out rough mpg in your head; At 45mpg (which you should easily get from a dt!) the litres match the miles - so a tenner = 7 litres = 70 miles at 45mpg. If youre really only getting 30 odd miles then thats 22mpg.............
