For 306 HDI's with disc brakes at the rear is there only one type of pad that can be used on the rear, if so is this bendix?

Yep that's right, all 306 rear discs are the same.

I could of but then I risked not getting any money back as id tried to fit them to my car first so they were a bit oily, they probably wouldnt have accepted them back, if so either;
I would have had to pay for return postage back to me Or I wouldnt have got them back and no refund

Oily brakes? Umm....
Lesson to learn there is to check they match your old ones before trying to fit them though.
