I used A-Plan (broker) to get me cheaper insurance on the HDi when I was younger, managed to beat everywhere else

To be honest mate, a lot of companies we use probably won't work out cheap for Kayley, but here's my suggestions:

Brentacre
Chris Knott
Flux (maybe message Jordan?)
Sky
Greenlight

I can't speak highly enough of Brentacre truth be told...

Most of the specialists like flux, sky and CK refuse to quote on young drivers.

Think there is actually a company called young driver insurance

Cheapest way is to get one of those black box's fitted it seems... most of my friends have them, they do all hate them though. The ones that dont have a black box are either with elephant or LV Smile

tbf yound drivers have a downer on black boxes, but i have one and its fairly leanient. and isnt that bad. you only have to stick with them for a year, and for a cheap quote, you cant complain. i had a 1.4 mk4 golf for my first car and with a black box 3rd party fire n theft it came to £1300. just have to bite the bullet and pay up. without a black box it was up £3000.

Give us a try at flux, I don't work on quotes anymore so I can't personally quote but I can arrange a call back if you PM me?

My sisters with Flux as they were cheapest (17 y/o, 1.0 Corsa) , she hasn't passed yet though.

Apart from them, try Admiral group (Admiral, Elephant, Bell, Diamond etc) doesn't really matter which one as they all match quotes lol. And add yourself and your wife to the policy as named drivers, will drop it loads.

I was with Quinn for my first 2 years then Admiral. However my parents were on mine to make it remotely affordable.

always found diamond where the cheapest for me, I paid about £700 on my ka. passed when i was 18 and had a claim in my first year.
they always come up top on compare sites.

super easy to deal with, and can make any changes to the policy online, almost instantly.

My cousin has a black box in his car only way he could get insured think his was £700 on a 1litre 2005 plate corsa. When you go on comparison sites it gives you the option to have black box companys. They just monitor your speed and mileage Wink so at least you know she wont ever speed haha
